- Worked as a production engineer in Heavy Pressure vessels (Upto 800MT) fabrication unit in a team of 3 engineers while leading a team of 4 supervisors and 30-35 skilled operators/workers per shift
- Also coordinating with various departments like planning, welding, QC, Machine shop, NDT, stores and third party contractors, vendors, logistics etc
- To execute the manufacturing as per schedule in order to achieve quality and on time delivery.
- Trial and installation of FCCU internals as the lead execution engineer i.e installation of SS beams and Grids. Used blue matching techniques, developed a specific team of 5 workermen and a supervisor to achieve the installation criteria of gap less then 1mm between GRID#BEAMS and BEAM#BRACKETS seating/contact areas.
- Final installation of all internal assemblies after refractory dryout for 2 equipments without any safety incidents; and also in reduced cycle time of 21 days as expected against 25 days using manual methods instead of fixtures.
- Developed data sheets and tables for stage-wise status tracking for ammonia convertor's all layers of shells and liners as well as for Grid assemblies in FCCU.
