Project: Automation of Cylinder De-loading Process using Sensors, Radio Transmitters, and Remote Wireless Limit Switches.
- Replaced the manual de-loading process of cylinders with a safer and more efficient electronic system.
- Integrated inductive proximity, ultrasonic, and infrared sensors with RF modules and controllers (Arduino Uno, ESP32).
- The central controller processes the sensor data and makes decisions to control the boom's movement.
- Automated the detection of cylinder positions and controlled the movement of the telescopic boom.
- Developed and implemented remote wireless limit switches to provide real-time feedback and additional manual control over the de-loading process.
- Ensured system reliability and safety by allowing workers to override automated functions when necessary, enhancing operational flexibility.
- Gained hands-on experience in industrial automation, electronic system integration, and the application of remote sensing technology.
