Vidhya Thakkar

A Doctorate in Career Psychology, and a Management graduate with specialization in Human Resources Management. Also holding a diploma in Training and Development from ISTD, New Delhi, and a diploma in psychological counseling from IBMS (AP). Successfully completed M.Phil in 2012. Have taught varied subjects like Organization Behavior, Personality Development, Human Resources Management, Leadership development, Talent Planning, Cross Cultural Management , Principles of Management and Managerial Economics for graduate and post graduate students, both as a full time as well as visiting faculty in different cities like Pune, Surat, Bangalore and Mumbai. Conducted few training programs for Govt and Private Sector. A unique combination of strong academics, teaching experience, effective communication, expertise in dealing with adolescents and excellent interpersonal skills. Currently, working as Assistant Professor at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai since January 2021. Apart from facilitating management subjects I have also been part of various committees in college like admissions and accreditation. I have facilitated several Management Development Programme on various topics in several companies. Additionally, am heading a Collaborative Social Impact Project named We-Chemie.

My motto in life is to be associated with a professional organization where my knowledge, skills, background and experience can be optimally utilized for mutual benefit and for the society at large. I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. I have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. I am organized and a dependable individual comfortable at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I always have the willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet organizational goals.
