Monolith to Microservices decomposition.
Understood the complexities of the system and participated in planning the decomposition of the Reviews domain from the monolith.

Researched, Designed & Feature Lead Reviews Compliance that introduced a new review verification system on the Atlassian Marketplace. Multiple scam reviews got auto-rejected which improved the App buying experience of the users.

Worked on a major bug with App Installation within the product (Jira and Confluence) that led to bringing down the errors significantly, removed confusion among the customers for the app installation failure reasons & prompted customers to renew their licenses thereby significantly impacting the revenue

Led the migration of a subset of the data lake migration project from the legacy source to a more reliable one. Used TAAS jobs and Airflow. Understood the sources of various tables from the older system to land the data into the new data lake.
Wrote APIs and queries to leverage the new system.

Worked with a senior engineer on the monolith to implement the feature of allowing apps to be hidden on the marketplace at the hosting level. Implemented changes for the third party service - Algolia for indexing based on the newly introduced fields.
Worked on migration & testing strategy of the existing field to the newer ones.

Handled multiple queries that shielded the team from ad-hoc queries around the system architecture.

Other responsibilities: Participation in company-level hackathons, handling Production level failures during Oncall, RCA, Knowledge sharing sessions

Ideated with the founders & the assigned mentor to solve the requirement of serviceability of various logistics vendor at a given pin-code.

Built a service from scratch and exposed an API. Learnt the basics of Git, Google Cloud, and PHP.
