This was high visibility critical project for stakeholder to optimize and take informed decision on launch excellence in APAC region. Task was to create a model with UI and functionalities for user inputs with advanced excel and VBA as a backbone. The model was created to account calculations for up to 200 countries in Phase I and delivered the model with quality and timely delivery for business review. With the success of Phase I post feedback from various clients, the next Phase of the project is ongoing

• BDnL team was looking for automated standard model each for Oncology and Pharma forecasting which could help then in delivering the project in short TAT. In line with business requirements, two separate model was created using advanced excel and VBA which are capable of developing up to 150 scenarios for various indications along with functionality to visualize data by region and portfolio and aid in slice and dice the data to crate custom reports. BDnL team has been using the model for ongoing product and portfolio level ongoing deals and is satisfied the way final model turned out

• Stakeholders want to shift from current monthly forecast to yearly forecast model with user friendly UI to resolve complexities and speed related issue with current model. Team developed a new UI and created a yearly forecast model in short period of time which was more efficient and also handled critical changes as per some of the country SPOC’s requirements.

• Stakeholder was looking for a consolidated slide-deck for Global and key markets for Chronic cough indications. It was large deck with approximately 100+ slides which required 2-3 business days to update and QC the deck. Team created a VBA based slide-deck automation tool with which user can create required dynamic slide-deck with just one click of button. The run time was reduced from 2/3 days to 2/3 hours.

• BDNL team was looking for an automated tool which can consolidate all the outputs from various forecast models when team evaluate a portfolio or a company altogether. Team created a forecast consolidator with VBA as backbone which was capable of extracting data from all the created forecast models and also create various dashboard in the consolidator to slice and dice the data by Region, Indication and by Scenario. The additional waterfall charts to compare and view the forecast changes at product, indication and portfolio level between two forecast updates was highly appreciated by the team. The tool in total led to elimination of manual effort of consolidating the data, creating charts and comparing two forecast updates manually.
