Worked in development of gasoline pump injector:

o Gasoline pump injector is port fuel injection concept which removes supply pump that is utilized in port fuel injector or manifold port fuel injector.

o Worked in developing the pump injector from the benchmarking stage

o Has great knowledge in working and process of the injector

o Contributed in design aspects to increase the robustness of the product.

Worked in the Development of solenoid control unit pump :

o Electronic unit pump is low cost solution to meet the BS VI emission norms with mechanical injector

o Worked from the conceptual design stage to prototype

Worked in development of after treatment injector:

o Urea pump & injector system design for NOx reduction to exhaust after treatment in Ashoke Leyland SCR BS6.

o Water pump & injector system design for NOx reduction through intake charge air Ashok Leyland BS6.

Job nature:

  • Fuel injection system new product design from concept design to prototype stage
  • To create 3D model and 2D drawing for the entire prototype model considering the manufacturing process and also the function constrains.
  • Installation drawing for fuel injection system as per engineering guidelines.
  • Tolerance stack-up analysis and engine layout study for fuel injection system.
  • Fuel injection system components design optimization along with CAE team for fuel flow processing defining analysis.
  • Process Knowledge in DFMEA, DFA, DFS, E-Bill of material for fuel injection system & Its Components.
  • Conducting product & design feasibility review with customer and supplier.
  • Engineering change management for serial life of parts.
  • To do reverse engineering of competitors product as a benching marking study to build a new product to stay competitive in the market
  • To create injector design according to the customer requirement based on the mounting requirement and do spray study for proper hitting of spray.
  • To design manifold that would properly fit the injector also considering vehicle assembly as well
  • To design a cam shaft for electronic unit pump.
  • Supported engineering design development through analysis and simulation of prototypes and 3D computer models.
