• Managing Major Incidents, ensuring that they are logged, progressed, updated, authorized, expedited, and resolved within the scope of the Service Level Agreement.
• Chairing MI calls with participants including Service Owner, SME teams and stakeholders and driving the call towards issue restoration.
• Complete communication ownership during the whole Major
Incident call.
• Sending out IT Notifications to business.
• Identifying appropriate timelines and targets for recovery actions, feedback, and communications
• Assessing and Agreeing Business Impact and Incident Severity Level.
• Ensuring Complete Incident management life cycle is followed till incident gets resolved.
• Assessing the need for appropriate handover of responsibilities to maintain optimum performance of the recovery team over an extended duration
• Highlighting risks and issues in actions identified during any Major Incident
• Evaluating recovery actions to ensure that a recovery plan exists or is being actively produced
• Suggesting workarounds and methods of speeding up the recovery of an incident
• Identifying RCA owner and assigning the RCA.
• Participating in Post Incident Review call
• Ensuring actions from Post Incident Reviews are addressed or registered as risks or issues
• Interfacing with Problem Management to ensure that items that might have a wider applicability are appropriately managed
• Maintaining the Major Incident Management process
• Reviewing and updating process documentation
• Ensuring that key support information such as emergency contact lists is kept up to date
• Managing Mir3 Application (user, Schedule, and Notification)
• Server Decommissioning Task (removing decommissioned Server from HP Monitoring system)
• Active Directory users and groups management.
• Creating Users, groups and assigning different levels of permissions effectively with regular and special permissions
• Creating File shares and administration of the file shares.
• Moving Objects from one OU to another in AD
• Management of security objects in AD & Maintenance of AD
• Creating Mailboxes, managing mailbox access, modifying mailbox size quota
• Creation of DL and managing them from admin console.
• Reconnect mailboxes from disconnected storage in Exchange Server
• Email client administration tasks include Outlook
• Provide first-level technical support for global IT infrastructure supporting throughout the U.S. and overseas
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Good knowledge on MS Outlook, MS Communicator, Exchange, and Active Directory
• Knowledge on Blackberry like Enterprise activation, issues related to emails, messenger etc.
