• Having 8 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA
• Experience in database up-gradation.
• Good exposure supporting production 24x7 Support, development & staging environments, and expertise in troubleshoot & resolving issues on regular basis on Production & other environments.
• Planned and Implemented Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability(HA) using Data Guard and made sure that the database is always available for the users even at the critical times like failures and up-gradations.
• Monitored Oracle Instances, Users, Tables, Table spaces, Memory structures, and Rollback segments, Redo logs, Archived Redo logs, and Alerts.
• Two node and single node Cloning (Manual clone, RMAN clone).
• Responsible in all aspects of Oracle Application database administration and maintenance of production, development, and test environments.
• Good knowledge in Applications system administration.
• Supporting Development Users resolving issues on regular basis Sysadmin tasks like Creating and Managing users and their responsibilities.
• Experienced in Troubleshooting various application issues/problems related to Apache, Concurrent manager, Forms server.
• Experience in Installation of Oracle software and creation of DB’s on Linux servers.
• Experience in AD utilities like adadmin, adpatch, adctrl, adrelink an adop.
• Monitoring alert log file and daily health check of Production databases and generating AWR reports.
• Applying database patches using OPatch utility.
• Performing Backup and Recovery activities using RMAN. Experience in Real Application Cluster (RAC) Database administrations.
• Knowledge on AWS.
• Experience on Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x patching & cloning.
• Worked on configuring SSO/DMZ and access manager/OID on EBS and dealing with day-to-day support issues.
• Applied various patches, such as Application patches, RDBMS patches, and CPU patches, to resolve issues and improve system performance. and applying crypto currency patches for WebLogic, enhancing security and compliance
• Working on DR sync-related issues, ensuring data consistency and recovery readiness and DR drill activities.
• Compiling forms, reports, and libraries as per user requirements, ensuring smooth functioning of Oracle apps products and Monitoring system administration activities, such as defining concurrent programs, profile settings, concurrent managers, and resolving CM issues.
• Efficiently managing user and responsibility assignments.
• Proactively identifying and troubleshooting application issues, including URL issues, clone issues, performance problems, and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues.
• Automating refresh and patching tasks using Python scripts, streamlining the process and reducing manual effort.
• Successfully cloning instances from production to Test and Development environments, ensuring data consistency and efficient testing.
