- Customer responsibilities: Ensures that comprehensive care is given to each patient and evaluates the services rendered. Schedules radiographers appropriately to ensure adequate staffing for each shift. Ensures that patient reports are available in a timely manner. Process responsibilities: Developing and suggesting ways to use database for marketing along with Marketing Manager. Actively contributing to the success of the health camps and clinics. Assisting in organizing Continuous Medical Education.
- People responsibility: Takes responsibility for radiology staff who report to the position. Provides on job orientation to radiographers and keeps them informed of the philosophies, policies, and procedures to be followed in caring for patients and their families. Facilitate in-service and/or continuing education for the radiographers. Evaluates the work performance of the staff. Sanctions and recommends leave and vacation schedules for the staff. Counsels staff on personal and work problems. Plans staff work assignments and schedules. Responsible for timely setting of KRA and review as per the PMS guidelines. Ensure your team participate in REDS activities.
- Technical responsibility: I have understood well about the imaging modalities like X-RAY, CT and MRI Machine. All routine cases & Angiography in CT scan. Routine cases in MRI. I have worked on conventional and both CR and DR system and can do the X-RAYS of Skull, spine, extremities, abdomen, shoulder& pelvic girdle and the special studies like Barium, IVP, MCU, HSG, etc. Helping the patients to clarify their problems regarding their registration in the department. The investigation to be done, Time involved during the investigation. Handling the reports of MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and ensure that all reports being ready on time and dispatch on time. Protecting the patients from Radiation following the principle of ALARA. Taking proper history of patient. Doing routine radiography with all procedures. Radiologist assistance during ultrasound guided procedure, FNAC.
