  • CAS (Chemical American Society) is a client to ACS-I India to manage their Disaster Recovery Planning and Execution for their Revenue generating Apps with the help of Recovery Point Services (RPS) as a Vendor and perform Disaster Recovery activities
  • CAS was using SunGard’s (Previous Vendor) Bubble technology to perform Disaster Recovery at CAS
  • Using this solution, there will not be any impact on Production systems, and we can be able to test the systems without any production impact
  • However, post changing the vendor to RPS, CAS has decided to use their datacenter to host its DR Environment and now they are performing in-house DR Drills
  • Responsibilities:
  • Working offshore and with the help of onsite team providing support during Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill
  • Co-ordinate with Client, App team and RPS team during the drill and provide periodic updates
  • Perform Call Tree Exercise, Mock Drills, Tabletop Exercise and support teams during outages for communication
  • Perform weekly Drill status call with RPS and CAS Technical teams
  • Provide support, by actively involving, during the issues and get the RCA for the issues happen before the Drill, during the Drill and post Drill
  • Co-ordinate with Vendors for scheduling the DR drills
  • Once the date is finalized, the DR team communicates the Drill date with the client for their readiness
  • Post finalizing drill date, DR Calendar will be updated.

  • Lloyd’s bank uses the same Tool to create Disaster Recovery Workflow
  • IBM Resiliency Orchestration Drill Manager is a module that provides workflow automation of Failover, Fallback, Switchover, and Switchback DR drill
  • Responsibilities:
  • Working offshore with 7 members and providing support during Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill

  • Create IBM Resiliency Orchestration DR workflow for required application as per the requirement of the client and the Plan of Action provided by them

  • Perform weekly Drill status call with Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Wipro Technical Teams and the Customer
