- Worked as a resident in the following sections
HEMATOLOGY:
1. Worked in various sections - OPD, Central Lab and Emergency Lab for 10 months having basic knowledge of cell counter, examining peripheral smears, performing routine hematology special tests such as NESTROF, OSMOTIC FRAGILITY, SICKLING TEST, RETIC COUNT.
2. Performed Bone marrow aspirations and biopsies as and when needed.
3. CSF examination, sputum examination, urine and stool routine and microscopic examination both in routine and emergency duties.
CYTOPATHOLOGY:
Worked for 6 months having basic knowledge as well as performing FNACs; studying/ examining cytology slides( H & E; Pap; MGG ) along with fluid cytology.
HISTOPATHOLOGY:
Worked for 6 months with knowledge about grossing of anatomic specimens; tissue processing, cutting and staining; examination of tissue slides in surgical pathology; special interest in soft tissue pathology
AUTOPSY:
Worked for 5 months with basic knowledge of grossing autopsy specimens and consequently examining respective tissue sections
BLOOD BANK:
Worked for 3 months with basic knowledge about blood grouping, cross matching, antibody panels, tapping blood (blood donation) and apheresis
ROTATION POSTING:
Worked for 1 month each in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Emergency Medicine department having basic knowledge about respective section activities.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES:
1. Had conducted classes – both Theory and Practicals for Second year Undergraduate Students as part of teaching programme.
2. Had attended various seminars and also presented the same as part of departmental activity.
