  • Developed four pyro devices for RLV and Gaganyaan mission, encompassing concept finalization, configuration design and optimization, structural and ballistic analysis, fabrication drawing generation, hardware realization for development and qualification tests, and functional testing to validate capabilities.
  • Led the design and development of next-generation pyro devices, executed numerical analyses such as linear and nonlinear finite element structural analysis, and utilized Hydrocode simulation for high explosive systems and ballistic analysis.
  • Led functional tests of detonators, high explosive systems, and pyro devices using Photonic Doppler Velocimeter (PDV) to measure performance parameters.
  • Developed and validated analytical ballistic code for cartridge actuated devices (ABC CAD) for ballistic analysis of ordnance systems based on pyrotechnic charges using MATLAB.
  • Carried out linear and non-linear finite element analysis using ANSYS which includes, linear and non-linear static structural analysis, non-linear transient structural analysis, explicit dynamic analysis, Hydrocode simulation (AutoDyn), etc.
  • Conducted failure analysis on multiple ordnance systems, identifying failure modes to inform design improvements.
  • Contributed to the development of SVASTA, a gas-powered mechanical ventilator, by designing the mathematical model and system architecture.
