Software Engineer - Backend Developer

  • Created the frontend and Backend for a microservice from scratch .Wrote REST APIs in java Springboot for backend , wrote the Unit testcases for it.
  • Coordinated with a team of 5 software engineers to create a microservice.
  • Then created the frontend using React framework and Typescript.
  • Worked with software development and testing team members to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance.
  • Worked with tools like Postman and Swagger for creating APIs and using them
  • Worked on Metrics tool used - Datadog (that setup monitors to alert on key metric thresholds), Added few new widgets like DB Queue Size and Query Timeout replica parameters for testing real-time metrics from servers and applications with end-to-end tracing.
  • Worked with MongoDB to make realtime entries while creating the backend Springboot APIs.
  • Wrote unit test cases for the microservices to test whether the APIs are working or not.

1. Implementation of detection technique for Gunshot 

    (Btech Project)   

  • The aim was to develop a system that can detect when a gunshot is fired and locate the source.
  • Noise needs to be removed from the recorded audio which contains the gunshot. After that, the frame which
    contains the gunshot is detected and steered response power is used to locate from where the gunshot was fired.
  • The system can be used in the military for detecting enemy gunfire when performing missions in enemy territory.


2. Parts Of Speech Tagging System  (AI Course Project )

  • Implemented a stochastic approach for predicting parts-of-speech tags in BNC Corpus using NLP in python.
  • Used Hidden Markov Model for estimating an appropriate tag sequence for a sentence.
  • Optimized the HMM further by using a dynamic programming algorithm known as Viterbi Algorithm with an accuracy of 95.23 .
