Shift Operations Management

• Mechanical Maintenance, DRI (4 x 500 TPD Kiln)
• Oversee all mechanical equipment in the DRI plant (kiln, cooler, conveyors, fans, compressors, power-packs etc.).
• Ensure continuous and trouble-free operation during the shift.
• Coordinate with control room and production teams.
• Lead and supervise mechanical breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure quick fault diagnosis and repair to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance crew and spare parts team.
• Supervise fitters, technicians, and helpers.
• Allocate jobs and monitor performance.
• Ensure proper shift handover with clear communication.
• Enforce safety practices (PPE, lockout-tagout, permit systems).
• Ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
• Prevent accidents by identifying unsafe conditions.
• Maintain shift logbook (breakdowns, actions taken, observations).
• Track equipment performance and downtime
• Use SAP for day-to-day activities
• Pollution control for the plant (With Pulse-jet bag filters)
• Maintain the cooling tower, water pumps and compressor for the plant

• Assembly Test Printing
• Calibration and testing of engine assemblies
• Handle the shifts
• Assemble & calibration the engines of the heavy vehicles as per customer demand
• Reduced production costs through careful analysis of materials and manufacturing processes, recommending cost-effective alternatives.
