  • Worked as a Project Manager for a Credit Card Financial Services company, Arab Financial Services (AFS), Bahrain. Projects included launch of Corporate Credit cards for Sohar Bank, Islamic Credit cards for Alizz Islamic Bank.
  • Lead daily Sprint calls; Worked on Waterfall as well as Agile frameworks as part of project execution.
  • Review Test Scenarios; Create JIRA tickets & allocate them to the respective team members. Ensure the tickets are resolved with the specified TAT.
  • As part of a PMO team had extensive interaction with the internal suppliers, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Testing team members.
  • Provide project management support for the assigned change requests as designated. Work with the Product Development, Sales, Client and Industry / Compliance teams in defining the project scope for the Client.
  • Identify the key development components with anticipated effort. To organize the required resources from both internal and external service providers and to undertake the delivery of the project request to the client's satisfaction and within the required timeframes, budget & Quality.
  • As part of a PMO team, involved in each project from the point of establishment through to sign-off and implementation. Extensive interaction with the internal suppliers, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Testing team members will be the norm - as well as extensive liaison with clients, vendors and business partners.
  • Fair understanding of the Cards industry and business operations. Work closely with the developers who are experienced on Vision Plus, COBOL & Mainframes to ensure the project requirements are met and with the Testing team (SIT & UAT) to plan and execute the test scenarios.
  • Work with the technical experts in producing any requirements documents for external clients that include the traditional technologies and new technologies. Be a key contact with the Client in defining the deliverables, for the life of the project.
  • Exposed to work with new technologies and business concepts that may be outside of the traditional Cards processing domain. This may include new ways of delivering transactions via the Internet (XML), 3rd party software packages and connectivity techniques, advances made by the schemes (MasterCard & Visa) such as Contactless, Chip Card and 3D-Secure. Understanding of PCI- DSS, ISO 20022, Payment Directives, Central Bank & Other regulatory requirements.
  • Displayed a level of independence in undertaking the work to meet the agreed schedules and deadlines, while seeking assistance from management and other team members whenever required.
