Crystallography of Biotite from Nellore District Using XRD, XRF & SEM Analysis, 2022-04-01, The present study focuses on the biotite mineral occurring in the Kalichedu area of Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, with the objective of understanding its geochemical and crystallographic characteristics., X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Analysis: Used to determine the crystal structure of biotite, identify mineral phases, and investigate lattice parameters, providing detailed insights into its crystallographic arrangement., X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analysis: Applied to quantify the elemental composition of the mineral, enabling identification of major and trace elements and offering insights into its geochemical properties., Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Analysis: Conducted to examine the surface morphology and microstructural features of biotite. Image analysis was performed using Image-J software, allowing precise measurement and visualization of morphological characteristics., By integrating structural, chemical, and morphological data, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of biotite from the Kalichedu region. The findings contribute to broader knowledge in mineralogy, petrology, and geochemical characterization, offering potential implications for geological research and resource assessment.
