Prudential insurance of america uses Print output services(POS), MNBS/NBS applications for policy holders to pre-process business rules for the purpose of generation of new and post issue individuals life insurance policy contract packages for policy holders.This System is integrated with Ouput/DAP(Document automation platform) for the composition of policy contract packages and variety of outputs.

Contributions:

• Develop,unit test and deploy the code to uppper environments like QA,UA and PROD as per the client requirements.
• Develop team schedules and assist in the successful on boarding and training of team members.
• Code reviews,Create and communicate a clear list of expectations and goals for team members to follow.

Pekin Insurance uses "LIDP (Life Insurance Data Processing)" as policy administration system for new business policy package generation and a variety of other form generations, which uses Java as the front end and Mainframe as the business rule processor.

Contributions:

• Daily Activities like Enhancement, Root Cause Analysis, handling production abends, running Test Cycles and resolving abends hand in hand, report generation.
• Developed CICS COBOL programs to interact with different technologies using XML parsing techniques.
• Code Reviews and Implementation activities.

Fidelity Investments, Boston(U.S) took an Modernization initiative called MMR(Money Market Reform) the objective of the project is the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued new rules for further regulation of money market mutual funds that are to be implemented by October 2016.

Contributions:

• Developed/Enhanced COBOL modules as per the design document and moving the components to version control tool based on change ticket.
• Raising the shared Migration tickets in Service manager to move the developed/enhanced modules to Shared region for QA testing.
• Preparing the Test plans along with test results and keep them in share point & JIRA for SME and QA reviews.
• Participating the Sprint Planing & story grooming sessions and also participating Daily stand up scrum calls with Scrum Master along with SCRUM team.

Westpac Group,Australia was using a Digital check clearance (DCC) system and they wanted to optimize enhancing the efficiency of Cheque clearing processes by delivering industry-wide, APCA (Australian Payments Clearing Association) driven changes in non-value (paper) cheque processing and exchange.

Contributions:

• Participating the DTD (detailed design document) preparation based on FSD.
• Developed and enhanced COBOL modules as per the design document and moving the components to version control tool based on CCID.
• Preparing the Test plans along with test results and send them to onsite for review.
• Participating the weekly status calls with onsite coordinators along with SMEs if required.

Anthem /BCBS is sending input files from different sources are of different formats. Usually the source files to be processed will be of 500 bytes, 2500 bytes etc. which we will be converted into step files which are of 21000 bytes through the step process and finally these files will be sent to NASCO.
