Description:

Mashreq is leading bank originated in UAE and currently operating in all around the globe. Purpose of this project is to provide all the essential support to get the Daily and Monthly scheduled jobs to complete and take care of Datawarehouse. This enables them to focus all their efforts on delivering the best service possible to their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Using Informatica power Center loading the Historical and Incremental Data into Dimension Fact tables.
• Provides in-depth technical and business knowledge to ensure streamlined 24x7 support of existing IICS jobs.
• Handle incoming support requests reported on the service management platform and resolving the Customer tissue using ticketing system in ServiceNow.
• Prioritize, schedule and escalate issues (when required) to the appropriate skilled team.
• Participate or organize Technical Call Bridge to address technical diagnostics & collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Handle break/fix and configuration issues.
• Maintain a log of troubleshooting on the service management portal platform throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Used Unconnected Look Ups with the combination of Update Strategy to implement Type 2 Warehousing.
• Implement workarounds to limit customer downtime (incident management). Subsequently follow-up and ensure implementation of permanent solution (problem management).
• Execute basic health check of the systems and services to ensure availability of components and critical integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and present required reports for internal review.
• Also responsible for maintaining the Quality Standards as per the CMM Level 5 procedures and also standards given by the client for Customization.

Description:

Maxis Communications is a leading mobile phone service provider in Malaysia. It provides a variety of mobile communication products and services. It also provides an online music store for its customers to download multimedia content. Maxis communication had spent over a year to evaluate an entire range of card access system that is able to provide high security for their telecommunication operations. They decided to invest substantially on Cardex Enterprise wide monitoring system to suite all their future needs.

Responsibilities:

• Worked on Informatica Designer Tool’s components – Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation Developer, Mapping Designer and Mapplet Designer.
• Involved in the development of Informatica mappings and also tuned for better performance. In the Mappings most of the Transformations were used like the Source Qualifier, Expression, Filter, Aggregator, Look Up, Update, and joiner, Sequence Generator, Sorter, Rank and Router.
• Used Unconnected Look Ups with the combination of Update Strategy to implement Type 2 Warehouse.
• Lookup tables were implemented at the staging level for the faster response time of Lookups.
• Extensively used Informatica Workflow Manager & Workflow Monitor tools to Load data from MS SQL Server, Oracle OLTP sources into the Target Oracle Data Ware House.
• Applied event wait and even raise objects along with the email objects from error notification information.

Project : GHM for D&B (Global Hygiene Match).
Client  : DNB
Environment : Informatica, Oracle.

Description:

D&B is the world’s leading source of business information and insight, enabling  companies to Decide with Confidence for 165 years. D&B’s global commercial database contains more than 100 million business records. The database is enhanced by our proprietary DUNS Right Quality Process, which transforms the enormous amount of data we collect daily into decision-ready insight.

This project is intended to set up a new Data Mart for CRM application. This is ongoing effort as a part of D&B to replace the legacy reporting systems to facilitate a better analysis and reporting (OLAP) application for historical and real time data and its requirements, Extraction, populating and Loading data from flat files and relational sources to Data Warehouse. D&B partners.

Responsibilities:

• Using Informatica power Center loading the Historical and Incremental Data into Dimension Fact tables.
• Designing ETL Data flows from Source systems to Target systems.
• Migrating data from OLTP system to OLAP system.
• Using Transformations like Aggregator, Source Qualifier, Joiner, Expression Update Strategy, Lookup and Sequence generator.
• Creating mappings, sessions, workflows and worklets. Scheduled and monitored loading processes using Informatica Workflow Manager.
• Managing defects and resolving environmental issues.
• Doing Analysis and finding the inconsistence in informatica jobs, to resolve the problems and sending the right data to the end users.
• Participated in user acceptance testing. (UAT).
