General, preventive, breakdown and shutdown
maintenance job planning and handling.
· Handling and distribution of manpower
according to the job priority and nature of job.
· Daily , weekly and monthly job planning for
effective execution.
· Mobilize resources for day-to-day mechanical
maintenance activities.
· Carry out LLF as per plan.
· Daily tool box talks and JSA before start-up of
any job.
· Inventory management and maintaining critical
spares.
· Analyze mechanical maintenance cost and
budgeting.
· Contractor management.
· Cost saving related works.
· Implementation of 5S at work places.
· Imparting training to all subordinates related to
HSE , SMP and effective maintenance practices
and tools.
· Facilitate and support minor projects and MOC
jobs.
· Breakdown report and analysis and root cause
analysis to prevent breakdown in future
(MTBF/MTTR/RCA).
· Testing for certification of lifting tools and
tackles, safety valves, hoists, pressure vessels
and maintaining their records.
· Non destructive testing (NDT) for testing related
work by vendor or in house by central engineering
(thickness measurement by Ultrasonic testing
machine, radiography, vibration measurement,
dye penetrate test, PMI etc.)
