Work involved organising ground level Gram Sabha meetings, following the procedures of filing for CFR under the Act, conducting the necessary meetings with the Community, liaisoning with District Level Forest and Administrative officials, documenting and mapping their traditional forest usage, burial grounds, traditional norms of harvesting specific plants and trees, seasonal grazing route etc, and finally collating it all to make a case for CFR over their traditionally accessed areas.
