Vinod Kumar Gupta

I started my Carrier as Civil Engineer in Bhasin Associate Private Ltd in Delhi.I worked as Design Engineer Rithala Sewerage Treatment Plant in Delhi from sepember 1987 to May 1988.

Thereafter I got Selected as Junior Engineer in Municipal Corporation of Delhi and worked as Junior Engineer from May1988 to May 1990.

In May 1990 I was appointed as Assistant Engineer in MCD by direct recruitment.

Promoted as Executive Engineer in 1998.

Promoted as Superintending Engineer in 2007.

Promoted as Chief Engineer in 2020 and working till date.

Going to retire on 30.4.2025.

During my tenure in MCD various Civil Engineering projects of Road Under Bridges,Road Over Bridges,School buildings,Hospital Buildings,Community Halls and Multilevel parkings were got constructed under my supervision.Also Road works both RMC as well Dense carpeting were supervised.

In addition to this I was also posted as Director Environment Management Services in MCD.

Works like Bioremediation of Bhalswa SLF,Door to door collection of Municipal Solid Waste were also supervised.

Construction and demolition waste processing plants at Jahangirpuri and Rani Khera were awarded on PPP model and I was involved in their successful installation.These plants are processing Construction and Demolition Waste daily 2000 TPD 1000TPD respectively.

I was also assigned as Air Quality Management in MCD.

• Assisted engineers with inspections of finished construction.
• Contributed to project completion ahead of schedule through effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Collaborated with engineering team to determine project specifications.
• Engaged in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in engineering field.
• Contributed to environmental sustainability by incorporating green technologies into project designs.
