Design and fabrication of coconut neera (sap) chiller box.
Designed and fabricated a fully functional cooling system to collect neera (sap) from the coconut flower. The fellowship is awarded for a total of Rs.1.5 million. Social Innovation Immersion Program, a component of the SPARSH scheme, is BIRAC's social Innovation fellowship/award program to create a pool of biotech “Social Innovators” who could identify the needs & gaps within communities.
Stirling Engine Integrated Cooking Stove
The project focuses on transforming waste energy from cooking stove to electrical energy, hence enhancing the system's overall efficiency. A Stirling engine (external combustion engine) working model is fabricated, and the findings are validated.
