  • Performed numerical airwake analysis on a frigate ship helicopter deck for different wind over deck condition for Indian navy
  • Analysis pilot workload due to air turbulence generated by aircraft carrier (Research model) and propose the suitable design change to mitigate the airwake as well as pilot workload.
  • Carried out assessment of deflection of fixed pitch three bladed propeller at desired R.P.M by Fluid Structure Interaction technique.

  • Assessment of power requirement for an amphibious vehicle FICV (Futuristic Inventory combat vehicle) for Indian army and involved in the designed impeller for waterjet propulsion system and propeller open water test has been carried out through experiment and CFD.
  • Carried out optimization of 8000t DWT mini bulk carrier (JSW) hull form for resistance reduction to achieve the permitted limit for the EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index).
  • Carried out numerical study (Star CCM+) of a Planning hull (for Mahindra) to improve sea water intake at high speeds for better cooling of engines and other components.
  • Participated the numerical and experimental investigation of effect of hull vane and stern flap on resistance characteristics of a high-speed displacement vessel.
  • Involved in the numerical and experimental (Towing tank) investigation of bubble induced drag reduction on a mini bulk carrier model at deep water condition.
  • Carried out numerical study of a Planning hull (for Mahindra) to improve sea water intake at high speeds for better cooling of engines and other components.
  • Involved in the tests evaluating the motion and hydrodynamic properties of maritime vehicles.(In wave basin).
