As a Product Manager & Functional Lead, I manage a key strategic project within Allianz group to replace the existing Insurance platform with a new web-based GUI facilitating efficiency and high user productivity. Below are my key roles in the new assignment:

• Planning and Estimation: Responsible for planning and estimating the project ( having a team size of 21 people) that needs to be done within the desired timeframe. This involves working with the team (Business Sponsor, Onshore Product Managers, BAs, Technical and Functional teams) to break down the work into smaller, more manageable pieces, and estimating how long each piece will take to complete.
• Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring that the team is delivering as per the plan and adding value to the business expectations. This involves communicating with stakeholders regularly in steering committee meetings and providing them with updates on the team's progress and taking back the business feedback to realign our plans accordingly.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: The current product involves co-ordination between multiple technical and functional squads who operate on the same business logic which is shared between multiple applications. As a Project Manager of the current assignment, I work with other teams to make sure the goals and plans are aligned to reach the common goal and make sure we mitigate any risks on the way
• Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks that could impact the success of the project. This involves working with the team to identify potential risks, and putting in place strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Agile Process Facilitation: Facilitating the Agile development process by working with the team to ensure that they are following Agile principles and practices, and helping the team to continuously improve their processes. As a scrum master I drive the Agile rituals of the team to make sure that we continue to mature our Agile processes on the go.
• KPI identification and Reporting: Identifying the key metrics to provide visibility to the current progress, efficiency and status and making sure that the team continues to improve the KPIs with each sprint.

ABS is the end-to-end insurance platform used by agents & brokers within Allianz group to manage their lines of business. As a technical BA, I work on the enhancing the features related to Motor & Household lines of business. As a part of the transitioning to microservices architecture, we developed a middleware platform to integrate Allianz APIs (Web services) with third party applications.

• Engaged with relevant stakeholders in an Agile workflow, right from PI planning to delivery, to develop an understanding of the most important problems to be solved
• Worked with onshore Product Manager to create artefacts such as product vision, roadmaps to effectively engage and align stakeholders
• Breakdown complex problems to smaller pieces of value (User stories & Functional specs), and prioritize backlogs that support the product roadmap
• Facilitated by bringing together diverse set of engineering teams and business users to solve problems and lead product development in a timely manner
• Identified success criteria and use metrics to measure impact & present it to management & business stakeholders

Techno Functional Analyst working on an agile environment to cater to the business requirements of the end to end insurance platform (ABS) used by Allianz France. Assigned to the functional design and implementation of a middleware platform to integrate Allianz web services (APIs) with third party applications.

• Managed stakeholder expectations through transparent communication and timely status updates, ensuring alignment between project deliverables and business objectives.
• Facilitated requirement gathering workshops, resulting in clear project objectives and deliverables.

As a lead BA for two modules within the application, I guide the development of enhancements and features within 2 Agile development teams, to meet the Financial Advisors’ demands. It involves interacting with different stakeholders including Product Managers, Business System Analysts, Development & Testing teams to bring in the intended requirements in a time bound manner. Additionally, involved in actively researching capital markets to foresee and analyze future trends and work on strategic initiatives to ensure our product stays ahead of time and technology.

• Acted as a proxy Product Manager to the client facing Product Owner in the United States
• Actively participate in all phases of the application development life cycle from inception, planning and analysis to design, testing, and implementation.
• One module is a client reporting tool which aggregates client asset data from multiple lines of business for the purpose of providing consolidated reporting capabilities to advisors and their clients with an emphasis on investment performance
• Second module is an analytics tool within the application, which calculates the ‘risk’ of a portfolio and ensures the client risk is in line with the risk of the portfolio, to ensure they meet the client’s investment goals
• Led a strategic initiative to integrate with a third-party vendor to bring in ‘Natural language generation’ within an investor facing portal of the application
• Actively involved in the data mapping and analysis of migrating the current product from a monolithic to microservices architecture
• Perform functional testing and validate business workflows to sign off UAT test case results before patching into production

Associate, who worked on

• Swaps Data Reporting requirements of the bank for EMIR regulation, primarily focusing on counterparty reconciliations for ESMA
• Leading client engagements on improving the banks regulatory reporting processes and servicing their queries related to EMIR reporting & reconciliations
• Representing the bank on industry forums where Swap Dealers participate to suggest and agree on the best practices for reportable economic fields
• Bi-weekly risk assessments within the firm to mitigate functional risks across the division

Worked with a global investment bank as a Business Functional Analyst on implementation of regulatory compliance for

European Markets Infrastructure regulation and Dodd Frank catering to reporting obligation under European Securities

& Markets Authority and Commodities Futures Trading Commission respectively. Have worked on the areas of Regulatory Reporting for various jurisdictions (ASIC, MAS & HKMA) and different functionalities including client delegated reporting, collateral and valuation reporting, analysis of DTCC GTR templates, DTCC NACK responses.

• Understanding the Business Requirement Document and interacting with business users for requirements elicitation for OTC Derivatives Transaction Reporting solution for a major European Bank
• Key responsibilities include requirement gathering, impact/gap analysis, design and implementation support related to OTC derivatives regulatory reporting
• Prepare/review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and coordination with all the stakeholders related to OTC derivatives regulatory requirements
