• Preparation of Weld plan, WPS & PQR, WPQ as per Requirements.
• Perform field inspections, testing, and documentation according to governing codes and specification. (Fit-up inspection, weld visual inspection, pneumatic test, vacuum box test, NDT test etc.).
• Interpretation of drawings, welding symbols and dimensional inspection.
• Interpretation of NDT Reports.
• Review the project requirement like scope of work specification codes & standards and extract quality requirement.
• Monitor the project construction site QA/QC activities.
• Preparation of history sheets & documentation before hydro test.
• Co-ordinate with operations, production supervisor, client, job sharing personnel and subcontractor assuring conformity to product requirements.
• Preform field inspection of fit up & welding in accordance with project requirement and scope of work as noted within the project quality plan/inspection test plan.
• Ensure progressive completion of inspection reports and certification packages.
