· Gas Authority of India Limited(GAIL): It is a public sector undertaking company and hired birlasoft for developing mobile applications for Gail for reducing the fulfillment time of a request by bringing in automation. This will lead to cost savings in terms of manpower and infrastructure.

· Applications:

Ø 1- Gail Canteen Application

This application allows emloyees of Gail to order food online through this application one day before the order date. This will reduce the time of employee to do manual booking by bringing it to automation

Ø 2- Canteen Vendor Application

This application allows canteen vendor to accept or reject an order from gail emloyees where I used the password as encrypted

Ø 3-Gail Barcode Scanner

This application is used for keeping records of pipelines as well as gail electronic products which are spread all over India , barcode scanner will scan the particular pipeline and update the database
