• Assisting senior engineers in creating test plans by coordinating with developers and other team members.
• Performed testing on test environments for implementation of new use cases to be included in the applications.
• Involved in preparing the Test Plans, Test Strategy documents, Test Cases, and Test Scripts based on business requirements, rules, data mapping requirements, and system specifications.
• Examining the logs carefully to identify issues and conducting a thorough analysis to determine their underlying causes.
• Identify any potential quality issues per the defined requirement, and highlight them with senior members.
• Conducting regression testing to ensure there are no additional bugs or issues due to the fixes implemented.
• Collaborated with developers to troubleshoot issues, reducing bug resolution time.
• Experience in testing web-based applications, Postman in API Testing.

Role/Job Responsibilities:

• Worked closely on product documentation, requirements specifications, and design documents to gain an in-depth understanding of the system and testing scope.
• Creating a schedule of tasks, resources, test items, risks, approaches, and exit criteria based on priorities and objectives for the testing effort.
• Preparing detailed test scenarios to evaluate the various functions and performance of the system.
• Setting up the test environments and data. Getting the required software, hardware, tools, and datasets ready for test execution.
• Executing the test cases while closely observing system behavior and performing additional exploratory tests when needed.
• Maintaining detailed documentation for any defects, crashes, or deviations found. Categorize, isolate test data, and follow steps to reproduce. Assign to appropriate teams for analysis and remediation.
• Once the new code changes or features are done, conducting the new testing across the software to catch any fresh quality issues or errors.
• Working with relevant teams and stakeholders to keep them informed on progress, test coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality through reports.
• Analyzing the processes and suggesting ways to increase efficiency, coverage, and defect detection rates.
• Maintain documentation for testing details, including plans, cases, results, defects, data, scripts, reports, etc., for traceability, analysis, and retesting.
