• Estimation of Cooling & Heating requirements using Trace.
• Equipment selections for HVAC such as VRF, Boilers, RTUs, Air Cooled chillers.
• HVAC system Layout provisions using New York City codes, Interdisciplinary co-ordination.
• Vendor drawing/submittal reviews, shop drawing review, energy modelling.
• Technical support to Principal Engineers in US & Technical Lead to Indian Team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES AT L&T

• Package Manager for Design and Execution Engineering of HVAC Package, Field Tanks and Fuel-oil handling Package.
• HVAC Design for Chemical Plants, RO plants and Sludge Treatment Building, Data Centre Buildings, Laboratories, GRIHA rated, LEED rated Green Buildings, Non-plant buildings.
• Cooling Load calculations using HAP, C-HVAC and Trace Software, Wet and Dry Ventilation calculations, Cooling Tower sizing/selection, Lift-well and Staircase Pressurization calculations, Humidifier and Heater Calculations Static Pressure calculation using ASHRAE Duct Fitting Database Software.
• Pump Head calculations using Darcy-Weisbatch or Hizen Williams Method, Electrical Feeder sizing.
• HVAC equipment selections such as VCR and VAM Chillers, AHU, RTU, CRAC, PAC, Cooling Tower, Pumps etc, P&ID and D&ID Preparation, Technical specification preparations.
• Layout planning for HVAC Rooms, Chiller Rooms, AHU Rooms.
• HVAC shaft sizing and allocation, Wall Penetrations sizing and planning, Duct Sizing and Route planning.
• Interdisciplinary Co-ordination with Architect, Civil, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation departments.
• Vendor Offer review, Technical Bid evaluations, Bid comparison and Vendor Finalization.
• Vendor drawing reviews, Drawing and Document approval from Customer/Client.
• Proposal bid and billing quantity estimation.
• Field query resolution and co-ordination with site team for execution.

• Ultra Supercritical Power Plant NTPC, MP (GRIHA RATED BUILDINGS).
• Gas based Dual Cycle Power Plant, Sikalbaha, Bangladesh.
• Combined Cycle Power Plant, Qassim, Saudi Arabia.
• Doqm Power and Desalination Project, Oman.
• Sewage Treatment Plants, Al Shamal, Qatar.

OIL & GAS PROJECTS:

• Parafin Refinery Petrochemical Plant, Farabi, Saudi Arabia.
• Cairn Energy Rajasthan.
• Cocker Unit Plant, Rajasthan.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT VOLTAS

• Preparing Bar Chart for the entire project activities.
• Determination of Heat Load for the entire building and equipment selection using Carrier Heat Load report. Calculation for Fan Selection, Air Handling Unit Selection and Cooling Tower heat rejection capacity, Selection of Pumps, Pump Head determination.
• Coordinating with consultants/architects/execution team for design validation and finalization.
• Headed team of two Designers for preparing shop drawings/execution drawings.
• Validation of quotations of vendors for equipments both commercially & technically and vendor negotiations.
