VISAKH SANTHOSH

I am a highly motivated and hands-on life sciences postgraduate with a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from Amrita School of Biotechnology. My academic journey has been driven by a deep passion for laboratory work and research-based learning, with a strong focus on practical applications of biotechnology and molecular biology. During my B.Sc. project, I gained in-depth experience in mass spectrometry, which sharpened my analytical and technical skills in proteomics and bio-molecular analysis. For my M.Sc. thesis, I ventured into cancer research, where I worked extensively with mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, western blotting, and X-ray imaging of protein blots, contributing to a better understanding of cancer biology at the cellular level. My practical exposure extends beyond academics through internships at HLL Lifecare Limited – where I experienced large-scale industrial biotech operations, and Xcellogen Biotech Pvt. Ltd. – a start-up environment that gave me insight into innovation and agility in biotech research. I thrive in lab environments, enjoy learning new techniques, and am always eager to contribute to impactful research in the fields of molecular biology, biotechnology, and biomedical sciences.
