TEAM DELIVERABLES

• Responsible for the new project coordination and lead the team from benchmarking, target generation of chassis functions & overall vehicle development perspective
• The CFD team is responsible for defining mule specifications based on the concept and give directions to respective engg and proto teams in building the mule
• Develop the mule in the areas of vehicle geometry, ergonomics, suspension, brakes, tires & wheels, Benchmark profiling etc
• Subjective and objective testing of complete brake system, suspension, Tyres etc
• Ride and Handling behavior of a vehicle - tuning
• To carry out various performance tests on battery, motor and the various control modules
• Joint trials with supplier to understand feasibility of obtaining target performance within mass production constraints
• Handling all the homologation activities with respect to brakes, battery and motor.
• Fine tuning the powertrain related performance parameters such as acceleration, max speed, drivability, deration, regen etc
• Manage the capex & revex which includes planning budget, generation of PR/PO, negotiation with suppliers/service providers if needed from engg perspective, ensuring the timely release of payments to service providers etc.
• Data loggers & other instruments, workshop tools, workshop area maintenance etc

• Dual responsibility as chassis development engineer and test rider
• Responsible for project coordination from chassis functions perspective and generating Mule specification documents to carry out Mule build and Mule chassis development of assigned projects
• Responsible for organising and presenting the mule to CFT
• Geometry Development - To test ride mule vehicles on track and generate feedback and make decisions which helps in fine tuning and optimisation of motorcycle geometry parameters to achieve target performance in terms of dynamics and handling
• Ergonomics Development - To test ride mule vehicles on various tracks and generate feedback which helps in deciding the rider and pillion ergonomics of the motorcycle to achieve the target seating position based on the category of motorcycle being developed
• Suspension Development - To test ride mule vehicles on track and generate feedback and objective data which helps in fine tuning and optimisation of the front and rear suspension systems to achieve the target performance in terms of ride comfort and body control
• Brake Development - To generate the spec requirements and develop a complete brake system including ABS through objective data analysis, subjective ride evaluation and joint testing with suppliers
• Tyre Development - To test ride mule vehicles on track and generate feedback which helps in selecting the right tyre to achieve desired dynamics and handling performance as per target.

• Brake testing lead for current & new projects
• Responsible for vehicle setup and instrumentation to conduct ABS testing
• Responsible for carrying out ABS tests at WABCO test track and process test data to generate results and conclusions
• Responsible for field failure test simulation and root cause analysis.

• Worked on the complete vehicle development, chassis set up (Geometry, ergonomics, suspension, tires, seats and brake tuning) and testing of Royal Enfield Himalayan, Interceptor & GT 650 motorcycles
• Responsible for capturing issues while and after testing and projecting them for further analysis and improvement
• Conducting vehicle tests as per engineering specifications, including instrumentation, part installation, and data acquisition
• Planning and execution of various vehicle tests and generate test results
• Coordinate with design engineers in areas of vehicle development issues and field issues
• Coordinate with the team to discuss on revisions to test objectives, methods, and standards
• Procurement of new test equipment and other infrastructure related requirements using revex and capex budget
