As of today, ERA works on-premise seamlessly. But,HCS AKA Hybrid cloud service deals with support for databases on-premise and any-cloud with the single pane of ERA.

1. Re-designed the on-prem-service to fit into the Hybrid-cloud model.
2. Design and implemented the IAAS project(Compute,Storage and Network) for the hybrid-cloud with supporting on-prem(Nutanix supported hypervisors) and Public-cloud(AWS and Azure).

ERA Entity Centric:
Prior to this project, NDB suffered from a single point of failure, larger tail latencies, and was cost-ineffective. I took the lead on this project to address these shortcomings.

ERA Database storage Migration:

1. Designed/Developed the Modules to migrate the database across different types of disk-storage available on the hypervisor.
2. Designed/Developed the Modules to migrate the database across the hypervisors and to any type of disk-storage on the target hypervisor.
Achievements: This feature was sole-responsible to buy-in 6M$ from AMEX And RBC.

ERA Copy-data-management:
Copy-data management deals with entire life-cycle management of the brown-field database AKA Customer's database.
Key Features:
1.Discovering storage-profiles for the brown-field databases.
2. Snapshot the Database related entities When the SLA is met.
3.Designed and Developed entire clone and Refresh Back-end work-flows which is used by customer when they wants to clone Dev-test VM from source or wants to Refresh an existing Clone.As a result of this feature, time taken for typical clone/refresh has reduced from 6hours to [30-40min].

ERA multi-cluster:
Earlier, ERA used to support only Single Nutanix cluster. ERA multi-cluster is the project which aims at having single ERA for multiple Nutanix-clusters
Key features:
1. Designed/Developed the work-flow of generating and spanning the era-agents across the chosen Nutanix clusters.
2. Designed/Developed the snapshot/profile metadata and replication process across the clusters.
3.Modified the existing clone/refresh work-flows to support the replicated snapshots and software-profiles.
