  • Engineered modular, scalable product architecture optimized for IP65 rating, managing prototype development, tolerance analysis, and critical characteristic identification while ensuring compliance with marine ISO standards and Q-Checker requirements.
  • Optimized battery pack performance and safety for marine environments, balancing IP65 protection, thermal management, and space efficiency with user-friendly maintenance protocols, while managing cross-functional collaboration throughout development.

ELECTRIC STEERING SYSTEM FOR BOAT

  • Developed a new electric steering system for boats, focusing on easy maintenance and improved control for marine use, including a robust electric actuator for outboard motors and rudders.
  • Utilized 3D modeling to ensure optimal steering across various boat types, incorporated a backup joystick control, and conducted failure analysis to enhance reliability and usability.
  • Designed the system for compatibility with both inboard and outboard boats and various motors, adhering to marine safety standards while managing the project timeline and conducting design reviews with the team.

ROTOR SAIL

  • Led the design of an innovative rotating sail system for ships, leveraging wind power to enhance maritime travel efficiency.
  • Engineered large rotating cylinders, optimizing dimensions for maximum wind propulsion, utilizing advanced computer-aided design and failure analysis to refine parameters such as shape, rotation speed, and wind dynamics.
  • Designed prototypes of the sail system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions from large vessels

ELECTRIC ACTUATOR

  • Designed a novel bidirectional electric actuator, utilizing a specialized screw system to enable precise movement in both directions at 35 mm per second, employing 3D computer design for accurate modeling and optimization.
  • Engineered an innovative worm wheel and worm gear mechanism, identifying and refining critical components to ensure smooth rotational and linear motion, incorporating a key anti-rotation feature to prevent undesired movement and maintain precise bidirectional control.

EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF PRESSURE SURGE IN PIPELINES

  • Developed a test setup to investigate water hammer phenomena, examining the causes of pressure surges in pipe systems by manipulating operational parameters and analyzing various factors.
  • Utilized pressure sensors, flow meters, and data acquisition tools to record and analyze data, facilitating the development of mathematical models and computer simulations of water hammer effects.
  • Investigated mitigation strategies for water hammer, including the implementation of air chambers and surge tanks, while incorporating safety measures to manage high-pressure events in the system
