Responsibilities:-
Participated in the creation of project scope and objectives, and collected business requirements through client group interviews, focus groups, and workshops
Involved in the creation of test plans, test cases and test strategy based on the functional and non-functional requirements and then linking them to maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Manage relationships with GPP vendors and third-party providers, ensuring they deliver to SLAs and align with
NatWest's expectations
Assess new GPP capabilities and upgrades to stay competitive in the payments market
Collaborate with customer-focused teams to ensure the GPP platform delivers seamless, real-time payment experiences
Prepare the Business Requirement Document (BRD), System Requirement Specification (SRS), System Design
Document (SDS), and Functional Requirement Document (FRD)
Enhance the Payment Engine to handle high-volume, real-time payment processing, ensuring low latency, reliability, and scalability
Implement features supporting multiple payment types (e.g., Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS, RTGS, and
SWIFT)
Assisted the team with Financial Accounting experience in configuring and testing General Ledger Accounting
FI-G/L, Accounts Payable FI-A/P, Accounts Receivable FI-A/R, Bank Accounting FI-BA, and Asset Accounting
FI-AA in a very complex business environment
Define and configure business rules to automate payment workflows, reduce manual intervention, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 20022)
Oversee the transformation logic for payment messages to ensure seamless processing and compatibility across formats (e.g., MT to MX conversions for SWIFT)
Analyzed the source data and handled it efficiently by modifying the data types
Extracted data from SQL Server 2008 into data marts, workbook consumption using SQL/PostgreSQL
Ensure the GPP platform adheres to local and international regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, AML, KYC)
Define KPIs to track GPP platform performance, including transaction speed, accuracy, and error rates
Used Java Script API to customize the views, selects, filters, date, and time
Involved in UAT testing in UAT environment, Prepared UAT test cases and testing estimates.
