- Performing Major Version and Minor Version Upgrade of PostgreSQL & MySQL Databases.

Automation of all this include to perform operation on multiple RDS present in multiple AWS account in multiple regions in one go.
- Configured pg_repack for full database vacuum with minimum downtime.
- Creating & scheduling TeamCity builds and integrate them with BitBucket to perform operational tasks.
- Providing response for all system / database issues on 24 x 7 schedule responding to critical events and situations outside normal work hours
- Creating Splunk alerts to identify discrepancies in RDS configuration and issue like High CPU, I/O, Latency, database connection, less freeable memory, swap usage etc. Also, Actively Using Splunk in troubleshooting issues.
- Used EXPLAIN and EXPLAIN ANALYZE to identify and fine tune SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Working with Terraform team for introducing and identifying new feature for RDS creation through Terraform and mitigating drifts.
- Working on cost optimization of RDS by analyzing usage pattern to reduce instance class and get reserved instances, ask project team to delete RDS if there is no connection of RDS from last 30days,
