From April 2020 -

• Responsible for providing concepts designs for battery/power packs for MLA and EMA long range and short range Electric vehicle programs (Cylindrical cells initially-switched to prismatic)
• Have been supporting cross functional teams to mature battery pack design to optimize cost, weight targets.
• Assisting build teams to assess power packs
• Creating Model Based Designs - MBD for MLA packs
• Supporting release and lifecycle activities

From 2016 to 2020 -

• Was part of Advanced Product Creation (APC) team and contributed in design and development of AJ200 (Both Diesel and Petrol) family for JLR engines
• Have extensively worked on design and development of key engine components like cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, Exhaust gas recirculation systems, cooling systems, intake and exhaust manifolds, heat shields, exhaust sensors etc.,
• Successfully collaborated with cross functional teams, both internal and external (Suppliers, Manufacturing, Rapid prototyping, Build and testing teams) to support development, component engineering and build activities

Airbus India:

• POC projects for Electrical (ATA-92), Structural (Viz, Fuselage, stringers, bulkheads – ATA 52,53) and Mechanical systems Installation migration from CATIA V4 to V5 and design modifications as per client requests.

Stelia: (MSI – Mechanical systems installations- Mainly ATA-29,38) – Tier1 supplier for Airbus:

• Delivered work packages of Drawing sets (For manufacturing and installation) for both commercial and Hydraulic systems (Tubes, pipes & brackets) for Airbus A350XWB - 900 & - 1000 series.
• I was deputed to Hamburg, Germany for initial phase of the project and to Toulouse, France for Knowledge transfer of hydraulics systems.
• Was responsible to setting up SOP's and detailed documents to train new ODC members
• QC for packages before releasing into airbus systems

Boeing:

• Legacy migration of Aircraft structural parts.

·Honda:

• Successfully completed Data migration of various automotive components (BIW, exteriors, interiors, engine components, transmission) from CATIA V4 to CATIA V5.
• Design modification of trims components as per clients requirements and creation of 2D and supporting documentation.

Good Year:

• Collaborated with design team in creating 3D Design and manufacturing drawings of automotive tires using KBE (Knowledge based Engineering) and in DOE.

Exterior Trim of front, rear bumper, and spoiler system VW-MQB:

• Provided CAD design support across the development cycle in collaboration with design team.
• Creation of 2D drawings and documentation

Magna Mirrors:

• Provided CAD design support across the development cycle in collaboration with design team. Creation of B-side features - Snaps, locators and housings
• Creation of 2D drawings and documentation

KUKA VW – MQB:

• Designing and Detailing/Drafting of Welding Fixtures for various car parts (Door trims, deck lid, Rear quarter panels, etc.…) as per VW Standards.

• As GET, gained hands on experience in shop floor - Molding and buffing machines, tool room (Automotive tube valves).
• Learnt basics of how manufacturing industry works.
