Worked with vapour absorption machines (chillers), heat pumps, and cooling towers, involving pressure vessels, heat exchangers, material selection, valves, pumps, burners, pipes, and pipe fittings. Designed systems based on customer cooling and heating requirements considering site conditions. Also performed design in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div 1 and ASME Sec II.

• Developing the Bill of Materials as per the customer spec requirement and by considering the International standards like API 682, API 610, ASME Sec VIII Div.1, ASME B31.3, ANSI/ASME B16.5, B16.9, B16.10, B16.11, B16.20, B16.34, B18.2.1, B18.2.2, B36.10, B36.19, and ASTM standards
• Sizing and Selection of Equipment like Pressure Vessels, Accumulators, Heat Exchangers, Valves, Flanges, Pipe Fittings & Supports, and Piping Materials
• Sizing and Selection of Instruments like Pressure gauge, Pressure transmitter, Pressure control valve, Pressure/Thermal relief valve, Temperature gauge, Temperature transmitter, Temperature element, Level gauge, Level transmitter, Orifice plates, Variable area Flowmeters/transmitter
• Executed various domestic and export projects
• Knowledge on the Procedural and documentation requirements of various certifications like DNV, PED, U-Stamp, ABS
• Handled the prime customer Flowserve India Controls, Coimbatore in proposing mechanical seals and systems as per the service, operating & site conditions and providing technical support
• And once the document gets code 2 approval, BOM is loaded internally for instruments procurement, seal system fabrication and maintain Inter Disciplinary co-ordination with other stakeholders
• Supported my company in clearing the 78% of backlogs for FPD OEM in system documents and getting code 1 approval for those documents from EPC/PMC
• Assisted in instruments standardization for basic and project models which covers most of the requirements of all EPC/PMC's instrument specifications
• Attended customer meetings (kick-off, coordination review, close out, HAZOP's, design reviews) and action plan to resolve open points to get approval for the documents
• Managed Design, MOC, Certifications for the assigned project to be in accordance to contractual requirement and internal procedures
• Building a solid relationship with customers to guarantee a reliable project execution
