Receipt Inspection:
Materials like Plates, Pipes, Fittings, Structural items of various profiles as per various standards, Beams, Columns, Stiffeners, etc
With respect to the approved purchase order, client’s specification, Approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards
Inspection Planning:
Obtain customer/client approval for their Hold, Witness and Surveillance checkpoints, Preparation of Seam wise and assembly wise checklist to maintain better track of the job progress
Preparation of detailed Inspection procedures
Welding:
Conduct the qualification of the welder as per ASME SEC IX, B31.3, and API 1104
Maintain the record of the welder qualification test.
Inspection of external 3LPE/FBE/Coating such as preparation to blast cleaning (as per ISO 8504), surface profile, surface cleaning, dust contaminant test, phosphoric acid & water washing, Induction & Holiday test
Also for surface preparation & their testing, wet film thickness (WFT), dry film thickness (DFT), adhesion testing, pinhole or holiday testing & other lab testing such as water test, and bend test as per client specification
Hydrostatic test (pre and post-installation)
As-built of route maps, alignment sheets, details drawings, and isometric drawings
Vacuum drying consisting of the following stages: - pre-drying checks; - one or more leak tests; - pump-down
Pre-commissioning checks -Dewatering, Flushing, Swabbing, Drying, Low-pressure leak check of aboveground piping system with dry compressed air, Gas in and commissioning activities (including pressurization of the pipeline system and high-pressure leak check, the establishment of flows and 72 hours run)
