• Recording, analysis and countermeasure implementation for Customer Complaints at Supplier end
• Follow-up of countermeasure for quality problem from supplier
• Supplier visit for Quality Problem and Countermeasure verification
• Responsible of quality products in press, weld and metal finish shops and take corrective actions if any NG found
• Internal Audit, Process Audit and product audit for a better quality management system & continual improvement in process performance and product quality
• Activities connected with new product development, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, CONTROL PLAN and IATF:16949 documents
• Analysis of rejection and rework and take corrective actions with CFT to reduce the same
• Handling customer complaints and take corrective and preventive actions against them
• Responsible to handle a team of 70-80 Quality workmen & monitor the efficiency / productivity with Quality of the process & PDI & timely supply
• To look after the supplier's quality and work with suppliers to improve the product quality
• Training given to Quality inspectors for improvement of Quality and also encourage to put there important role on KAIZEN activity
• Improve Sustainability and Safety in shop
• Process Monitoring of Weld Shop (BIW) & Metal finish part
• Welding test like, Nugget test, Chisel test & Carbon test and Penetration test & Tear down Report of Spot welding
• Part of a team in the development of tool tryout of new die and after Refurbishment
• Prepare Incoming Quality Standard
• Review Supplier Incoming Layout Inspection Reports
• Review and Analysis QRQC and take action accordingly
• Implementation of Poke-Yoke and Kaizen in Supplier's Tools
• Conducting Process /Product audits and onsite verification audits for corrective actions
• Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvements, timely delivery etc
• Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely Action Plan (CAPA), New Improvements, and quality checks & monitoring defect free supply
• Prepare CTQ'S on requirement/end use based
• Display of the Quality Alert (OPL, WI's) & Improvement on shop floor against customer complaint
• Improved the quality of products using QC tools like Pareto chart and Cause and Effect Diagrams
