QA Responsibility:

• Responsible for Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling QA activities related to Internal & External Customers, Vendor development & Product Quality and involve in the Development activities of New Products
• Ensuring the Adequacy / Compliance of IATF:16949, QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, OHSAS 45001 activities throughout the Organization and Vendor base, measure and improve the performance of the system.
• Managing a Team of Two Engineers in the form of Asst. Managers & Ten inspectors for QA /QC activities.
• In charge and decision making for all In -process, Incoming & Final inspection activities. Prepare (If needed) and Approve Inspection Reports like First - off approval reports or First article Inspection Reports, In process Inspection Reports, Incoming Inspection Reports, Final Inspection Reports Certification of Product conformance to Customers at delivery stage.
• Lead and co-ordinate all NPI (New Product Introduction) activities with Engineering team, Manufacturing Team, Sourcing and Vendors.
• Define MOP (Measure of Performance) and their Targets regarding Customer Complaints / Rejection, In Process / Vendor rejections & rework, Process capability studies etc.
• Liaise with customer regarding the performance of our organization in terms of Quality, Delivery issues etc. Based on their Oral perception / written reports, immediate Temporary action shall be implemented and Permanent action shall be taken to sort out it permanently in a Fire-fighting way.
• Establishing Quality systems and documents in Online, Incoming and Final inspection area and stimulating effective inspection methods to have an eye on catching defects before pre-final stage by employing Preventive Quality management methodology rather Detection Quality methods both in house and at vendor end.
• Prepare & Approve inspection Reports as per part requirements Updating of SPC, SQC, MSA - R&R, PPAP, APQP, FMEA studies of parts to direct online status at customer end and in house. Train inspectors and Process Personnel regarding the same. Preparation of Quality management systems, work sheets standards including standards for weld and production process, feasibility studies etc. for system evaluation, process audit etc.

New Vendor evaluation and rating of vendors based on his performance. Technical up gradation and providing training for vendors. In case of any deviation in the same, train/educate the vendors to be Socially & Technically competent to stay with our organization. Implement systems for supplier Quality Policies and objectives etc. Evaluate the adherence and competence of the same with factual evidence and improve performance.

• Define and evaluate product / part performance with respect to Quality, Reliability and cost. New product costing, evaluation of supplier and development of the same. Advance Product Quality planning for the new product introduction and existing components i.e. based on design given by customer, design & develop process for parts and submit along with the process chart, flow diagram, operation standards, inspection standards, control plan, FMEA, Gauge R&R PPAP etc. and provide samples for customer approval.
• My responsibility stands till the components gets into regular production mode as in customer and at our end. Meanwhile, discrepancies/difficulties shall be communicated to the customer and suitable actions with evidence shall be implemented and production process will be standardized inclusive of development product tool setting, machines and operation.
