Daily managing more than 30 patients in Neurology OPD. Patients with all neurological disorders like Epilepsy, Headache, Neuromuscular disorders, Stroke Follow-Up, Dementia, Movement Disorders, demyelinating diseases like multiple sclerosis etc. are catered to regularly in our OPD. - Neuro ICU—
Acute neurological emergencies like stroke, status epilepticus, meningoencephalitis, and encephalopathies are admitted and managed in our ICU. Many patients with GBS and myasthenic crises have received IVIG in our ICU. - Stroke Thrombolysis—
More than a hundred patients thrombolysed using either alteplase or Tenecteplase and managed in our ICU. - In-Patient Department—
Patients of less severe neurological diseases and chronic diseases like Parkinsonism who need rationalization of their therapy are admitted in general and private wards. - 24-hour on-call—
As a neurologist providing round-the-clock emergency neurology care catering to the needs of one of the busiest hospitals in this region. · Cross Consultations—
Provide regular cross-consultations to patients with neurological symptoms admitted in other departments of the hospital. - Neurophysiology Lab—
Perform and report nerve conduction tests, electromyography, electroencephalography, evoked potentials and other neurophysiological parameters. - Education and Awareness—
Conducted multiple CMEs in the hospital for imparting education to junior doctors and allied medical staff. In addition, regular social media and peripheral hospital awareness campaigns for raising awareness regarding neurological disorders, particularly “Time is Brain” in stroke care.
