• Inter- personal conflict resolution amongst personnel.
• Vigilance functions to ensure early detection and prevention of potential issues.
• Formulation of policies in order to prevent recurrence of conflict issues.

• A total of ten serious conflict cases were resolved by Manas of counselling and mediation.
• Awarded with certificate of participation by Guinness World Records in recognition of organising a welfare event of huge proportion in IAF.

• Planning, approval from ministry, contract and post contract management of capital construction projects.
• Conflict and dispute resolution pertaining to construction projects.
• Vigilance and Ombudsman functions so as to prevent and deter personnel from financial and moral wrongdoings.

Highlights

• Managed and executed capital construction projects worth Rs 10 crores (INR).
• Nil disputes were reported in respect of construction projects owing to astute contract drafting and proper post contract management at all stages.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of capital construction projects.
• Maintenance of buildings and assets by means of revenue expenditure.
• Land Assets management, prevention of encroachment and removal of already existing encroachment on defence lands.

Highlights

• Planned and executed runway resurfacing project. Project worth Rs 50 crore(INR).
• Encroachment on 0.5 acres of defence land was cleared amicably by mediation and talks with civil populace without the use of any force.

• Designated as Administrative Single Point of Contact and thereby worked tirelessly to save numerous lives as part of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations launched by IAF post Srinagar floods.

Awarded with AOC-in-C Commendation (second highest departmental award in IAF) in recognition of devising means of online counselling of personnel thereby reducing the conflict issues exponentially.
