I have been an Indiana State Trooper since April 2006. I graduated from the 65th Recruit Academy. I have extensive experience in public relations and am prepared for high-stress environments and rapid decision-making. I have the proven ability to enforce laws, conduct thorough investigations, and handle emergency situations effectively. I am a collaborative team member known for reliability and adaptability in all conditions. I utilize strategic thinking to address and resolve incidents efficiently. I have a strong understanding of community relations and maintaining order under challenging conditions. I have completed the Indiana State Police Leadership Academy. I was assigned to the former Red Key District, then transferred to the former Terre Haute District, then assigned to the Putnamville District. I spent a year and a half as a Sgt. in the Indiana State Police Operations Center and then transferred back to the Putnamville District. I have experience in assisting citizens, investigating accidents, investigating criminal incidents such as thefts, burglaries, domestic violence calls, rapes, along with conducting routine patrols. I assisted with the Governor’s Mansion Security during Governor Mitch Daniel's administration, at his current residence and his former residence on Geist Reservoir. I have been assigned to many disaster reliefs, Vigo County flood, Henryville tornado, and the Sullivan County tornado. My training at the academy and continuing departmental training allows me to practice safe security measures as well as conflict resolution techniques in order to handle crisis and emergency situations. I am skilled in assessing risks and making critical decisions under pressure. I also have reviewed and submitted many reports and used a variety of computer programs in my duties. I have worked security details for the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400, U.S. Grand Prix, and Super Bowl XLI.
