Fueled by my deep commitment to ocean preservation, I joined BetterBlue, an NGO that contributes to ocean conservation in China, during school days online. With a group of like-minded environmentalists from all over the country, we collaboratively designed and organized ocean protection activities, such as coral tours, ocean documentary screenings, and workshops to engage more people to join us in the concrete actions of protecting the deep blue ocean.

To gain a thorough understanding of water conservation and pollution management, I spent two weeks at the Erhai Lake Research Center which is in Yunnan, China, dedicated to ecological system management of plateau lakes. The experience deepened my understanding of how scientists use various approaches to monitor a variety of indicators and improve water pollution, such as filters, and biofilm instead of artificial chemicals.

• Remained composed and highly professional in fast-paced and constantly changing environment, effectively handling challenging situations and difficult individuals to achieve objectives.
• Evaluated live broadcasts to assess signal strength and compliance with FCC standards.
• Crafted plan for breaking news events and trained and prepared entire staff on how to handle such scenarios.
• Booked guests for on-air interviews and assigned stories to reporters to manage coverage and schedule needs.
