Project Overview:

The Investment Management project at MassMutual aims to optimize investment portfolios, enhance risk management practices, and position the company for sustained financial growth, underscoring MassMutual's commitment to prudent financial management and its ability to navigate the complexities of the investment landscape.

• Attend Sprint meetings, requirement discussions, so that all the scenarios that are required to be automated are developed.
• Attend the daily standup and let the team know about progress or blockers, if any.
• Analyze the pain points in ETL manual testing, and implement those into our automation framework.
• Prepare test plans and test cases, and get them reviewed by the team.
• Create and tag the test cases in Jira to the proper story.
• Compare the data from Source to Target by applying all the transformations, and in case of any bugs, raise the same in Jira.
• Performed smoke, sanity, and regression testing in the case of a change or addition of a new feature.
• Guide the team members in preparing test cases and queries, and clarify their doubts, if any.
• POC for Automations
• Demo to the client on a bi-weekly basis about automation progress.

EBIA: Enterprise Business Intelligence Platform for Dell for Analytics.

Project Overview :

• The project is designed to determine the product line that becomes a major revenue driver, accounting for Dell's total revenue. Spearheaded the integration of key products, with a primary focus on developing robust data pipeline code. This involved seamless interaction with diverse platforms, including Informatica, SAP, Teradata, and other proprietary software, to ensure a streamlined and efficient integration process.
• Attending Sprint Meetings, Sprint Planning, PI Planning, Retro, and Review so that we cover proper test scenarios.
• Prepare test plans and test cases, and get them reviewed by the team.
• Upload test cases into Rally once the team is okay with the testing approach [Agile tool].
• Smoke test before moving into functional testing.
• Submit parameters through the UI, and check whether the parameters are properly captured in the backend.
• To test whether the orchestration process is proper and successful.
• Count and data checks are to be performed based on the parameters passed from the UI, and all the respective tables are loaded.
• Metadata check to be performed for the target tables.
• Verified whether the CSV files are created in the S3 bucket, which are further loaded into our input and output tables after policies are rated.
• In case of any defects, raise it in Rally, and follow up with the team until it is fixed or deferred.
• Update the test cases [Pass/Fail] respectively, so that the Product Owner is aware of the testing activities.
• Attend Scrum calls (stand-up) daily, and provide the update for testing.
• Ensuring there are no defects and completing all the user stories assigned on time.
• Parallel testing and stress testing.

J&J's unified platform for inventory control:

Company Overview: Project to implement an enterprise-wide data management initiative at Johnson & Johnson, focused on establishing a unified platform for inventory control. The project aimed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the organization's inventory management processes.

• Sharing the impact analysis with the client, including what components need to be modified before implementing this process.
• Functional study of requirements.
• Attending to client-specific requirements.
• Building test queries to compare data between the Pay force Database and the Vantage Database, and reporting bugs if there are any mismatches.
• Conducting peer reviews for test case reviews within the team and updating review comments in the test case review log.
• Functional execution of test cases for new requirements and change requirements.
• Finding defects and reporting.

Livewire: Unilever’s analytical platform:

Project Overview:

A program that involves migrating legacy data warehouses into the new EDW and providing new data mining and analytical tools to support Unilever management at all levels in achieving fast, informed, and fact-based decision-making based on comprehensive and up-to-date data. It is also expected to deliver significant, sustainable cost savings both in IT and across Unilever's business operations worldwide.

• Functional Study of the New Requirements, Change Requirements (Enhancements) of the Application.
• Attending briefing sessions for new requirements/change requirements with DA.
• Understanding the New Requirements, Change Requirements, and preparing Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
• Conducting peer reviews for test case reviews within the team and updating review comments in the test case review log.
• Functional execution of test cases for new requirements, change requirements, in terms of initial load, and incremental load.
• Comparing the extract with the source using the data flux tool.
• Finding defects and reporting in the bug tracker tool (internal tool).
