Project focused on identifying sources of microplastics, different types, distribution of these in the biosphere. The study primarily involves the adverse impact on biosphere due to indiscriminate use and abuse of microplastics.

The project also entails identification and analysis of any prevalent legal and regulatory framework to effectively manage the use, distribution and disposal of used microplastics

• Research and peer review of findings of the existing turtle excluder devices in India. The research paper includes history of availability of such devices, evolution of its design and modifications to suit condition in Indian Ocean and Bycatch requirements.

• Collaborated with other researchers in developing study designs, methods, and tools for data collection.
• Created detailed summaries of existing studies for use in further investigations.
• Gathered data from various sources, including online databases, libraries, and podcasts.
• Contributed ideas and suggestions regarding potential new areas of inquiry based on current trends in the field.

• Detailed study and secondary research of publications with respect to endangered species in india - salt water crocodiles, pangolim and snow leopard.
• Identified potential threats to species or habitats through literature reviews and stakeholder consultations.
• Prepared reports on findings from field visits, data analysis and other research activities.
