Securities Operations division is responsible for processing, record keeping, monitoring transactions, collecting and distributing payments which are due to the client's on investments in corporate action events such as spin-off, stock split, exchange, merger, partial call, rights distribution etc... relating to US domestic securities and payments are received from US depositories i.e. DTC ( Depository Trust Company ).

• Manage day to day operations for Mandatory Corporate Actions for US market, wherein I perform Pre-reconciliation, processing and post reconciliation of Corporate Action events.
• Exception management - investigation and resolution as per REMS policy.
• Creating training modules for new staff and providing cross training for experienced staff.
• Adhering to process timelines, analyzing and evaluating root cause.
• Interaction with depository, onshore partners, brokers and sub custodians.
• Act and perform as first point of contact for any queries and closely work with team leader to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Monitoring and ensuring timely response to email queries.
• Shown a sense of responsibility in managing the entire process.

The Cash Application Processing team focuses on solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with the Clients.

• Responsible for applying unapplied cash, reconciliation of suspense account in cash application and process them from payment receipt to finalization.
• Follow up/escalate to the required stakeholders for client query resolution.
• Apply payments to client accounts in specific accounting system.
• Processed high volumes of payments accurately and timely.
• Established strong relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication across departments and teams.
