Summary

I am a second-year Computer Science student at KIIT University with strong foundations in data structures, automata theory, and core programming. I have independently practiced core concepts beyond coursework, and since my university does not officially offer quantum computing, I pursued online courses to build expertise in its principles and applications. Drawn to the unorthodox nature of quantum computing, I am committed to deepening my knowledge of quantum computing and exploring its applications in solving real-world problems.

Work History

Independent Quantum Computing Practice

06.2025 - Current
  • Using Qiskit to implement basic quantum circuits.
  • Actively working toward simulating quantum algorithms, including Quantum Phase Estimation and Grover’s search.

Theory of Computation (Academic Experience)

07.2025 - 11.2025
  • Learned and applied finite automata (NFA, DFA) to solve problems. Further, connected the concepts by understanding regular expressions and conversions between NFA, DFA, and regular expressions.
  • Explored the importance of the Pumping Lemma theorem, along with practical applications of Pushdown Automata and Turing Machines.

C Programming and Data Structures

10.2024 - 11.2025

These experiences are not directly research-based, but they helped anchor my conceptual understanding of the programming.

  • Took initiative to learn and practice the basics of C language in the first semester, before it was formally introduced in coursework.
  • Studied and implemented basic data structures prior to the Data Structures Lab in the third semester, which helped complete assignments and tests with ease.
  • Expanded programming foundations by learning basic Java.
