Intern
- Gained hands-on experience in cybersecurity during an internship at DRDO, covering cryptography fundamentals, computer networking (OSI model), and web security concepts. Studied OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and performed penetration testing using DVWA, including attacks such as brute force, CSRF, and SQL injection across multiple difficulty levels. Implemented a reverse TCP connection between virtual machines and developed a basic machine learning model for malicious URL detection. The details of the project are:-
- Malicious URL Detection System- Developed an ML- based web app to classify URLs as benign or malicious using Kaggle dataset.
- Performed preprocessing using vectorization and label encoding.
- Integrated trained model into a web interface for real time prediction.
