Thermal Biomorph Analysis | REVA University • Performed a comprehensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of a thermal biomorph using ANSYS Workbench.
• Analyzed the biomorph's structural integrity and thermal performance under diverse environmental conditions.
• Leveraged ANSYS Workbench to simulate real-world scenarios and evaluate the biomorph's response to thermal loads and external factors
- VTOL Aircraft (inspired by V22 Osprey) 02/2024 | Bengaluru Hybrid VTOL UAV Development: Inspired by V-22 Osprey | REVA University
Pioneered the design of a Hybrid VTOL UAV, combining helicopter-like vertical takeoff and hovering with fixed-wing efficiency.
• Managed the procurement of essential materials, including stainless steel pipes, aluminum pipes, 3D printing filaments, and acrylic sheets, to construct the UAV's robust and lightweight frame.
• Employed a unique bi-copter configuration and a 3D-printable, swashplateless control mechanism for simplicity and weight reduction
- Model Jet Engine (Fuel injected) 09/2022 - 10/2022 | Bengaluru Model Jet Engine Design & Development | Independent Project
• Designed and built a functional model jet engine using Fusion 360 to showcase jet engine principles.
• Enhanced an electric ducted fan (EDF) with a self-designed afterburner for increased thrust.
• Designed all components, including a fuel mechanism and ignition system.
• Successfully assembled and tested the EDF afterburner, integrating a new centrifugal fan powered by a high-performance BLDC motor.
