• Developing Incoming quality team by providing necessary training, robust inspection controls & establishing appropriate workmanship standards
• Establishing Quality assurance system specific to Incoming Quality Assurance process in line with organization QMS and customer specific requirements
• Defining suitable instruments for inspection and implementing gauges/fixture for pass through characteristics in the quality lab
• Root cause analysis of reported complaints related to harness, metals, electronic components, plastics and resolving using 8D methodology
• Regularly monitor and review incoming product quality level and work with internal team/suppliers in addressing the concerns/improvements
• Conducting supplier audit on yearly basis and tracking supplier performance through Monthly scorecards.

• Responsible for development of electronic sub-assemblies and machined components for Generator product family
• Work with sourcing team for onboarding new suppliers through risk assessment and audit
• Conduct technical discussions with engineering and suppliers for safe launch of new products
• Preparing and standardizing Quality inspection, PPAP documents and standard operating procedures to facilitate supplier production
• Addressing daily quality issues in assembly line for sourced parts- Electronic sub-assemblies, machined and plated components by providing real time solutions
• Level 1 problem solving with 8D methodology and Level 2 with verifications of corrective actions at supplier site
• Work closely with plant quality team to investigate and analyse 0-KM/Field customer complaints
• Benchmarking of Germany lead plant processes and horizontal deployment of lesson learnt
• Training and development of suppliers on 14Q Bosch principles,5S,8D methodology, poka-yoke, FMEA and IMDS
• Continuous review of supplier production process and periodic auditing to strengthen quality assurance of thes system.
